St. Patricks Day 2010!!
Yes, it is true! The greatest day of the year is just around the corner!! We look forward to celebrating this day with ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT personnel. If you have not made it in the past, please speak with someone that has! This year the events take place on Wednesday, March 17th, 2010.
Yes I know, the thought of marching in uniform in front of thousands of people is intimidating, but when you hear those thousands of people chant, “we love the Police!” it truly brightens your day. We even have many officers bring their children to share in the amazing experience.
In past years we have welcomed many brothers and sisters in full dress from Chicago PD, NYPD, US Military Personal, and many more.
Too often we hear about what we do, as Police, as being wrong, unjust, and unfair. On St Patrick’s Day we march in the parade as heroes in everyone’s eyes. I am firm believer in quiet pride, but also believe that we deserve a time and place to stand proud, be honored, and pay tribute to our fallen brothers and sisters.
Please join us this year to pay that tribute!!
